Mail Ballot Precincts
32 of Aitkin County’s 51 precincts are Mail Ballot Precincts that have chosen to vote exclusively by mail. Follow this link to determine if you live in a Mail Ballot Precinct.
Ballots are automatically mailed to ALL REGISTERED VOTERS in a Mail Ballot Precinct 3-4 weeks before the election.

NOTE: If you live in Rabbit Lake Township or Deerwood Township, please refer to Crow Wing County election information here.
Submitting your ballot
You can return your ballot by mail or by dropping it off at the Aitkin County Auditor’s Office (307 2nd Street NW, Aitkin, MN 56431).
Ballots must be received on or before Election Day to be counted.

Aitkin County Residents can vote early in person at the Aitkin County Auditor’s Office starting Friday, February 27, through Monday, April 13.
